The final numbers are in for this year’s summer reading program, and Owen County showed up: readers logged 299,237 minutes and finished 2,806 books.
Readers of every age took part — kids, teens, and adults across the county tracked their reading in the free Reader Zone app with the library’s program code, and every minute counted toward the county-wide total.
