Library cards are free for all Owen County residents age 14 and up. Bring a photo ID and proof of address (a utility bill or piece of mail works) to the Adult Circulation desk. Children ages 6–13 can get a limited card with a parent or guardian present.
If you had a card in the past, we may be able to reactivate it. Stop by or call the Adult Circulation Desk at Ext. 1.

Most items check out for three weeks. Movies and high-demand items check out for one week. Ask at the desk if you have questions about a specific item.
- Can I renew items online?
Yes — use the “Search for or Renew Items” link in the header to log in to your account in our online catalog.
- What if I lose my card?
Stop by Adult Circulation. Replacement cards are available; small replacement fees may apply.
