Registration

Registration with OCAE will be held on Tuesday, August 25 or Thursday, August 27 at 4 PM. Call 812-510-7655 to schedule your registration, or contact us if you need an alternative date or time. Registration must be completed by August 27.

Schedule & location

Class generally meets Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 PM to 7:30 PM, at the Owen County Community Foundation office, 60 E Market St, Spencer (south side of the square). The course runs ten weeks, August 25 through November 4. The opening week meets Tuesday and Thursday, August 25 and 27, and Thursday, September 10 is a home study session. Certification exam

When you begin the course, you will schedule your certification exam. Exams need to be completed by the end of November, and vouchers are provided in class. The test is taken at Ivy Tech, but under certain circumstances testing can be arranged for a Friday afternoon or Saturday at the Owen County Public Library.
