OCPL’s Summer Reading Programs for all ages are gearing up to start in just a couple of weeks.  You can sign up starting Wednesday, June 1st.
You do not have to sign up to attend the programs, nor do you have to attend the programs if you sign up.
Starting today, May 24th, we are beginning our Summer Schedule so all weekly programs for young people are on hold until school starts back in August to be replaced by a single weekly storytime.  Our Storytime is now Tuesdays at 10 am and all ages are welcome.  We hope to read stories for all levels of story lovers.
We will additionally be having Craft times on the following Wednesdays at 1 pm:  June 15th and 29th, and July 13th and 27th.

As with previous years, participants will be voting for 3 non profit groups.  This year’s choices are:
*Owen County Education Fund (via Owen County Community Foundation): Provides SOCS teachers with mini grants of $50-250 each for their classrooms.
*Broadband Ready Initiative for Owen County (via Owen County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development):  All of Owen County will have high speed internet by 2023.
*Mark of Discipleship Food Pantry: Food for county residents in need.
